I am a Registered and Chartered Forensic Psychologist with a Master’s degree in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). For the past 20 years, I have worked across a range of forensic settings in both Scotland and England, supporting male and female clients with complex psychological, emotional, and behavioural needs. My experience includes conducting risk assessments for prisons, parole hearings, courts, and psychiatric services, as well as providing therapeutic interventions focused on both offending behaviour and overall wellbeing. I work with individuals and groups to promote meaningful change and long-term recovery.

We provide comprehensive risk assessments for general violence, sexual violence, and intimate partner violence. Our evaluations are structured, evidence-based, and grounded in professional judgment. Using validated tools such as the HCR-20, RSVP, and SARA, we assess historical, recent, and potential future risks. These assessments support treatment planning and inform key decisions, including sentencing, suitability for progression to less secure environments or release.

Intervention can be provided to aid the process of change in thinking, attitudes and behaviours which contribute to offending. This includes areas such as problem solving, perspective taking, managing relationships and self management.

We provide specialist neurodiversity training in partnership with Neuro Bureau Scotland, a Community Investment Company that combines professional psychological expertise with lived experience. Our programmes cover key topics including neurodiversity in the workplace, late-diagnosed women and ADHD, and the intersection of ADHD and menopause, helping organisations build understanding, inclusion, and practical support.

We offer a professional, compassionate counselling service designed to support individuals through a wide range of challenges. Our approach is person-centred, providing a safe, confidential space where you can explore your experiences and work towards positive change.
What makes our service unique is that many of our counsellors bring lived experience in areas such as addiction, domestic violence, PTSD, and neurodiversity. This allows for deeper understanding, empathy, and connection throughout the therapeutic process.
